Ifö Sign Art WC unit

For its outstanding design Ifö Sign Art WC unit has now received one of the most coveted design prizes worldwide: the ‘red dot’. This quality seal for good design is awarded annually in the international ‘red dot design award’ competition by a jury of experts and only goes to products with a particularly sophisticated and innovative design.

Ifö Sign Art WC unit is designed by the famous Danish industrial designer Knud Holscher, who has a long history of successful design in close partnership with Ifö.

International jury examined

The product assessment is carried out by an international jury of renowned design experts. They examine and test the products and assess them according to criteria such as degree of innovation, functionality, ergonomics, durability, ecological compatibility and clarity of function. This year, companies from 43 countries with a total of 2,548 products faced the jury’s verdict.

Since 1955, the Essen Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen has annually selected outstanding design quality and paid official tribute to the award-winning products in an exhibition.
